So, the ‘November Nine’ are now holed up in various locations around the globe either practicing like Billy-oh ahead of the WSOP finals, or maybe having a bit of plastic surgery to nail their Perfect Poker Face. The window between qualifying and actually taking part in the final is is shame. There's no big style famous players in the final, but there are some definite amateurs; Dennis Phillips and Darus Suharto in particular who are a pair of accountants. Now if the final was straight away, we could be looking at a genuine underdog tale where the amature ends up winning. However, what's now going to happen is that these guys give up their jobs and spend every minute practicing. By the time they get to the final, they'll be able to call themselves pros and there really isn't so much difference between them and the other pros taking part.
Scotty will win it, no doubt about it. Snooker players make the best poker players, although Tony Cascarino has just won a GUKPT event hasn't he?
