PAI GOW
Pai Gow Poker is dealt with a single deck of 53 cards including the joker. All bets made by players will be against the house.
Players are betting that both their 5 card hand and their 2 card hand achieve higher rankings than the dealers. Jokolor side bets add more excitement to the normal game of Pai Gow Poker.
How to Play
Prior to the game commencing the player will place his bet and the optional Jokolor side bet.
With the Jokolor bet the player is betting that his hand will be either of the same colour or contain a joker. The joker can be of any colour.
Once all bets are made the dealer will deal 7 cards to each player and to himself one at a time in rotation.
The player will then set about making a 5 card and a 2 card hand, the 5 card hand being the highest hand and the 2 card hand being the lowest. The joker can only be used to complete a straight, flush or straight flush, otherwise it is treated as an ace.
The player may set their 5 card and 2 card hand in whichever way they wish, however the dealer must always set both hands in accordance with the "house way". Also, the dealer's hand will always be set the house way.
The dealer will open their own hand and compare against the opposing player's two hands.
In order for the player to win they must win both the 5 card and the 2 card hands.
